Busker Resources
Interested performers can apply for annual permit, which allows them to perform in designated public spaces in Salt Lake City (parks, plazas, sidewalks, etc.). Performers should laminate and display the permit when utilizing public space for their show. Additionally, street markers are placed along Main Street, 300 South and other areas of the city to indicate approved busking locations. Learn more by pressing play on the video below:

Street vendors and performers can check out the convention calendar below. Conventions bring large pedestrian crowds to downtown, especially blocks surrounding the Salt Palace Convention Center.
